- JD, MBA, or Master's degree.
- Experience with the development, implementation, and
maintenance of policy.
- Experience implementing strategic or large-scale projects in a
demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with global teams and communicating with
stakeholders cross-functionally.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with
attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

you will seamlessly switch between developing global policies for
YouTube content and driving cross-functional projects impacting the
global ecosystem. You will bring order and clarity to unstructured
or ambiguous problems. This role will sometimes involve reviewing
graphic, controversial, or offensive video content in line with
YouTube's Community Guidelines.This role in particular will support
Policy Development for Cross-Product Solutions, focused on new
products and high-priority launches including Shopping and DM.At

is $125,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges
are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on
each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries
for the position across all US locations. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Google.Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update our global policies focused on
policy requirements for new features and lead execution all the way
to safe launches.
- Evaluate the risk profile of new products and features.
Influence cross-functional stakeholders and company executives
regarding proposed content policy efforts.
- Negotiate and find optimal policy solutions balancing safety
and product reach and growth objectives, and work closely with
global teams to ensure effective operationalization of global
policies.
- Propose new strategies and policies to improve Trust and Safety
product market fit to the evolving needs as well as our ability to
scale our enforcement.
- Understand and clearly communicate the policy challenges and
needs presented by new features and emerging global online content
