Job Description:
Job SummaryIn coordination with the Clinical Nurse Educators,
Department Managers and the Director, the Clinical Educator
implements educational programs, equipment training, and clinical
outcomes evaluation; creates and maintains organizational systems
that support the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry departments. Adult
learning principles will beutilized to appropriately match the
educational and professional needs and requirements of the staff
inproviding necessary and complementary educational programs. The
position is responsible forproviding staff development in a dynamic
manner to meet needs for professional growth anddevelopment. The
position is closely aligned with its community education resource
networks andprovides support to programs designed for the education
of patients and their families across thelifespanThe final salary
and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on
UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a
number of factors including your work experience and internal
equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions
that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary
range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining
agreement.The salary range for this position is $105,900 - $225,900

community.Required QualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years combined
experience in healthcare industryBachelor's degree in healthcare
related field or equivalent professional experience.Preferred
QualificationsExperience in adult education preferred.Masters
DegreeCertified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
preferred.Current training as CPR BLS Instructor
preferredLicense/CertificationAmerican Heart Association
