Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative
responsible for managing patient accounts and ensuring timely
resolution of claims.
Key Responsibilities
Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting
payors and patients
Document account activities and maintain productivity and quality
standards
Assist with special projects and escalate payment delays to
management as necessary
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in
business administration or accounting preferred
1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections
experience
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate patient accounting
applications
Intermediate knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and
Medicaid collections
Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
