Job Description:
A company is looking for a PRN Inpatient Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to complex
inpatient visit types
Collaborate with Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) on
discharge coding and educate on regulatory guidelines
Utilize coding expertise to resolve coding validation errors and
meet productivity and quality standards
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Minimum of three years' experience in Inpatient Coding at an
Academic Medical Center
Current CCS, CIC, RHIA, or RHIT certification
Excellent computer skills for provider and staff interactions
Able to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks
effectively
Strong organizational skills and ability to follow client Standard
Operating Procedures
